Before locking the Australian Open final tickets, Victoria Azarenka not only have to face Kim Clijsters. Azarenka also grapple with the burden that he experienced in the game.
Azarenka reached her first final in a Grand Slam event by reaching the final of Australian Open 2012, after beating defending champion Clijsters in the semifinals on Thursday (01/26/2012) noon CST.
Belarusian tennis player winning three that started the match well and could dampen Clijsters from the baseline to win 6-4.
However, the game slipped away Azarenka in the second set and Clijsters could make an equalizer in the 6-1 victory thanks to this set.
In the deciding set, Azarenka again find comfort and sharpness. The 22-year tennis player had won tickets through a 6-3 final.
"I feel like my hands so my body weighing 200 pounds and weighing 1,000 kg and it rocked, but the feeling when I finally win is really a relief," said Azarenka on the edge of the field shortly after the game as reported by the BBC.
