Carragher backs Gerrard England captaincy

England captain have no owner after John Terry was ousted by the FA. Jamie Redknapp support colleagues in Liverpool, Steven Gerrard, to appear as a replacement for Terry.

So far, the market potential England captain enlivened by names like Gerrard, Scott Parker, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, to Joe Hart. Of these names, the new Ferdinand and Hart who refused the Three Lions captaincy.

In the eyes of Carragher, Gerrard was the one who most deserves to be the new British leader. According to him, with experience as skipper of the Reds over the years, the capacity of Stevie G can not be doubted.

"Maybe a manager to come and have a different opinion. Who knows who the new manager of England? He may see things differently," said Carragher told talkSPORT.

"But, for my captain Steven Gerrrard is real, and it's not a biased judgment," he added.
