Venus Doubtful Down in Australia Open

Daughter of an American tennis player, Venus Williams was canceled following the dress rehearsal ahead of the Australian Open because of health problems. This certainly makes tournament organizers disappointed, though still respecting the decision of Venus. This condition also makes Venus undoubtedly go down in the Australian Open.

Health Venus Williams is known for often problematic. He had just recovered from illness or decreased immune known as Sjogren's Syndrome. In the Australian Open, Williams got a wild card to appear on the upcoming January 2 to 7. These health problems are also doubtful Williams makes presence in the Australian Open.

"After playing in several exhibition games, Williams told his agent, namely Carlos Flemin that she was not ready to play in Auckland," said the statement in the tournament's official website, as quoted by Eurosport, Monday (12/21/2011).
