Miami Heat star LeBron 'King' James declared his readiness to undergo the new NBA season that will soon be rolling. Former Cleveland Cavaliers players this rate he had successfully undergone a transition period at his new club.
James's decision to move to the Heat last season had sparked controversy among supporters of the Cavaliers. He announced his move was on national television and branded a traitor by his former club's supporters.
Despite much criticism came his way, the appearance of winning the title Most Valuable Player in his first season with the Heat starting pretty good. He scored an average of 26.7 points, or second most under Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder) who gain 27.7 points per game.
James also successfully brought the Heat to the final, but the team should recognize the benefits of the Dallas Mavericks after losing 2-4 in a best of seven games.
Although capable of carrying his team to the finals, James felt his performance is not maximized because he did not feel being yourself. Now, after undergoing a transitional period of one season, his 26th this year declared its readiness to undergo 2011/2012 NBA season as himself.
"It was a difficult season for me. If I look at the numbers last season, I played pretty well, but I did not myself," he said as quoted by Reuters.
"It was a tough transition - come here, through what I went through, it is a different matter. But I will learn from it and now I'm back to being myself."
James assessing the Heat is the perfect place for him now. He no longer thought of the criticism addressed to him.
