Indonesian SEA Games Champion

Despite all the distorted-marutnya, Indonesia could eventually roll out on time SEA Games. At the end of the sporting events that South East Asia, Indonesia was featured as the overall champion.

For the record, it was the first time Indonesia became the best contestants in the SEA Games, having become the overall champion at the 1997 Jakarta SEA Games.

Outside the SEA Games, there are several other sports events that took place in the homeland. One is the tournament Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Nusa Dua, Bali, which held for the last time. Some of the top women tennis players like Ana Ivanovic, Sabine Lisicki, and Daniela Hantuchova took part in this tournament.
