Anelka played in China

Shanghai - The issue that Nicolas Anelka will continue his career in China finally began to prove. French attackers were reported to have reached an agreement with Shanghai Shenhua club.

"We've agreed on all details of the contract, and we're just waiting for him to sign it," said club official statement, Ma Yue, told Reuters on Sunday (12/11/2011).

Also not yet known when Anelka will start working for Shanghai Shenhua. Regarding salary, reportedly he will be paid as it is today in Chelsea, about 175 thousand pounds ($ 1.4 billion) per week.

Last week Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas admitted to the mass media that Anelka and Brazilian defender Alex has submitted a request to leave the club. They were allowed to move in January.

Anelka started playing at Stamford Bridge in January 2008, and in the 2008/2009 season to be Premier League top scorer with 19 goals. Before the Blues he had strengthened Paris St Germain, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Fenerbahce and Bolton Wanderers.
