Nanan obsession Bring F1 to Indonesia

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association Motor Indonesia (IMI) The newly elected, Nanan Soekarna, sparked his obsession that Indonesia could someday menghajat Formula 1 race.

It became an obsession Nanan as outlined in the elaboration of the vision-mission as chairman of the General Assembly following the elections in Solo on Friday (16/12/2011) yesterday, and emphasized again after being elected.

"F1 as a vision of making adrenaline to be encouraged for all members of the IMI, with the highest placing obsession," said Nanan who is also deputy chief of police of the Republic of Indonesia (deputy chief) it.

Despite knowing it was not very easy, but he hoped obsession that can be realized by doing synergy with all stakeholders, including governments.

"Just how our campaign to the government. If F1 could be held, then the other championships I say easy," he said, as stated in a release received editorial detiksport.

F1 is not a cheap sport and therefore required a huge investment. The circuit is adequate and substantial capital is not something that was believed impossible to achieve.

"If there's profit would they want to. But the important thing is togetherness. Obsession, vision and mission of hope and my desire to be together," he said. "If there is no circuit we can make such a street circuit in Singapore and Monaco."

While chairman of IMI before, Juliari Coal promised to help Nanan to meet with FIA President Jean Todt.

"On 28 December Jean Todt going to Bali because he had a house there. I will be personally introduced by Nanan," he said.
